Chacko’s Eatery, a popular Johnson Drive restaurant and bakery in Mission, is closing April 27.
Chacko’s has been in business for 15 years, first as a catering company that David and Rachel Finn ran from home starting in 1998. The success of their lunch box offerings allowed them to move to 6001 Johnson Drive at a corner location and open a full line bakery and catering service in 2000. A few years ago, the business moved to the middle of the block at 6009 Johnson.
The posting this week on the Chacko’s Facebook page:
“We wanted to take this time to let you know that after 15 years of business, Chacko’s Eatery will be closing on April 27, 2013.
We have enjoyed serving you and appreciated having had the opportunity to getting to know you. Thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided us during our time with Chacko’s. Even though we will miss seeing you, we are looking forward to the new phase of our life.
We hope that our paths will cross again. Please keep in touch.
Thanks again for being a part of our lives.”
