The SM East boys basketball team’s 72-39 drubbing of SM Northwest wasn’t the only thing to celebrate for Lancers this Valentine’s Day weekend. At halftime of the game, SM East senior Maggie McGannon was crowned this year’s Sweetheart Queen. Her court was: third attendant, Audrey Phillips; second attendant, Kate Mitchell; and first attendant Stephanie Wilcox.
The King and his court were announced at the the Sweetheart Dance the following night. This year’s Sweetheart King is Akshay Dinakar. His court is Jack Anderson, Jack Flint and James Wooldridge.
