Overland Park police respond to report of man choking 4 month old infant

The Overland Park Police Department issued a release this morning on an incident in the 7700 block of Frontage Road in which an man starting choking a 4-month-old infant. See the department’s release below:

The Overland Park Police Department responded to the 7700 block of Frontage road on October 19, 2016 at 7:23am reference a male choking a four month old infant. The mother of the infant did not know the male suspect. Bystanders was able to subdue the suspect and held him until police arrived.

The infant was treated at the scene and is expected to be fine. The suspect remains in police custody.
