Briefly noted: 95 Metcalf Square complex for sale; District 17 and 18 candidate forums; Porter, Franklin Park improvements meeting

The complex, which sits on 13.5 acres on the southwest corner of the intersection, was built in 1984 and includes 152,108 square feet of space. District 17, 18 candidates to take part in chamber of commerce forum. Candidates in the District 17 and District 18 primary races will take part in a forum hosted by the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce and the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce this afternoon at the Shawnee Civic Center, 13817 Johnson Drive. The District 18 forum will be from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. The District 17 forum will be from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. Check out our coverage of last week’s SMAC-PTA forums for the District 17 candidates and the District 18 candidates.

Public input meeting on Franklin, Porter Parks set for this afternoon. Prairie Village residents will have the chance to share their input on proposed updates for Porter and Franklin Parks this afternoon. The meeting will take place at the Prairie Village Community Center outside City Hall from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
