JCCC Board of Trustees forum set for Tuesday. Our forum for the candidates running for the Johnson County Community College Board of Trustees is set for Tuesday, Oct. 15 on the JCCC campus. Doors to the Hudson Auditorium in the Nerman Museum on the college’s campus will open at 6 p.m. The forum itself will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. We’ll be collecting questions from the audience on notecards to pose to the candidates.
SM East girls tennis team wins regionals. SM East’s girls tennis team took home a regional title last week on the strength of several performances. Allison Wilcox took first place in singles. The doubles team of Bryson Langford and Greta Stechschulte defeated fellow Lancer duo Quinci Cartmell and Bridget Epstein in the doubles title match, giving the Lancers first and second place in that division. And Eva Kading took fifth place in singles.
