Lenexa wraps up Dumpster Days bulky item pickup event
The city of Lenexa last weekend wrapped up its annual Dumpster Days bulky item pickup event. The annual event allows Lenexa residents to drop off acceptable bulky items for disposal at the Service Center near Mill Creek Elementary.

Coffee with a Cop events pop up across NEJC
Several northeast Johnson County police departments are hosting Coffee with a Cop events this week.
A national event, Coffee with a Cop is intended to be a time for citizens to ask officers questions. Below are two events happening today, Oct. 6:
- Merriam — 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Strawberry Hill Povitica
- Prairie Village — 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Starbucks, 6920 Mission Road
