Cedar Niles Park to be closed Oct. 18 to Oct. 22 for trail work
Cedar Niles Park, located west of K-7 between 119th and 135th Streets, will be closed from Oct. 18 to Oct. 22.
The park will be undergoing trail work, according to a Johnson County Parks and Recreation District tweet. There are three areas of development at the 957-acre park at the following markers,according to JCPRD’s website:
- 119th Street west of K-7, which is getting a trail head, paved parking lot and a water fountain.
- 127th and Clare Road, receiving the same upgrades.
- 135th Street access point, which is getting a playground, shelter, restrooms as well as a water fountain and trail head.
