Further background: The office building formerly housed TortoiseEcofin, an Overland-Park based investment company that has a focus on energy and power infrastructure.

  • Two years after acquiring it, TortoiseEcofin subleased it last year to Optiv Security — a Denver-based information security company.

  • Both properties are owned by VanTrust Real Estate, a Kansas City-based real estate company.
  • JLL Inc. representatives for both listings did not immediately respond to inquiries about the sales prices for the properties, which aren’t listed online.
