The highly-anticipated pickleball entertainment facility SERV officially opens this Friday in Overland Park, according to company officials.

Located at 9051 Metcalf Ave. in the Promontory development, the complex will offer several different food options, bars, a coffee shop, large video screens and yard games in addition to pickleball.

SERV offers year-round pickleball and yard games

  • The facility offers six indoor, climate-controlled pickleball courts to use year round, as well as two outdoor courts with rise seating.
  • When waiting for a court, patrons can pass the time by playing oversize yard games or watching the space’s two large video boards, which will be used for watch parties, summer movie nights and more, according to SERV’s website.
  • In its front yard, a large stage is available to host live music and other weekly events.
  • SERV also has cabanas and private rooms that can be rented for private events.

  • SERV also has a few health-conscious food options, such as Power Plant, a dedicated vegan concept, and Smash Bowl, which provides bowls made with greens, grains and lean protein.

It also offers bars, coffee and sweet treats

  • Two bars will be located within the entertainment complex that will serve craft beer, wine and cocktails.
  • A coffee shop called Go Joe will also be on the site serving drinks from Messenger Coffee and Hugo Teas, as well as pastries from Ibis Bakery.
  • Dessert space Sugar Bomb will be selling ice cream by the scoop and several other dessert options.
