SevenDays, the annual event meant to promote kindness and tolerance, kicks off today in Leawood.

The event each year honors the legacies of three people — Reat Underwood, William Corporon and Terri LaManno — killed in two separate shootings in 2014 in Overland Park carried about by a white supremacist who was targeting Jewish sites.
