Gorjana Jewelry, a “Laguna Beach-inspired” company, is introducing its bling to Johnson County for the first time.
The California-based company plans to open a new store soon near 119th and Nall in southern Leawood.

Gorjana is coming to the Town Center Plaza shopping center
- The Leawood store will mark the company’s first storefront in Johnson County.
- It’s also the company’s first store in Kansas as a whole.
- The retailer operates primarily out of California, but Gorjana has stores in 14 other states across the country as well.
Gorjana sells “fine jewelry” in various forms
- The jewelry company was founded in 2004 by owners Gorjana and Jason Reidel, who originally operated the company out of their Laguna Beach apartment.
- The company sells a range of accessories, such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.
- Gorjana merchandise feature a variety of jewels and precious metals — including diamonds, emeralds and solid gold.
Town Center Plaza has added several new stores
- Gorjana Jewelry joins a growing list of clothing and jewelry stores coming to the southern Leawood shopping center.
- A second accessory store, Pandora Jewelry, also plans to open a new store at Town Center Plaza.
- The North Face, a Colorado-based outerwear and outdoor recreation supply store, is also on its way to the shopping center.
