A new entertainment venue offering go-karts, video games, laser tag and other fun activities is on its way to Overland Park.
Developers will break ground this month on a new Andretti Indoor Karting & Games facility just north of 119th and Nall in southern Overland Park.
The facility will open at Overland Park’s Aspiria
- The Andretti facility will be built at 11610 Nall Ave.
- Just off 117th Street, the site is across Nall from Leawood’s Park Place shopping center.
- Andretti representatives said that while a solid construction schedule has yet to be pinned down, the company aims to open the new facility by summer 2025.
The company plans to build multi-level go-kart tracks
- The roughly 103,000-square-foot venue will feature an indoor track for electric go-kart racing, with multiple levels.
- Besides go-kart racing, the facility will also feature other activities like high-tech virtual reality games, arcade games, laser tag and bowling.
- Patrons will also have access to a food and beverage area with items like burgers, pizza and a full bar.
This marks Andretti’s first Johnson County location
- The Aspiria facility will also mark the company’s first one in Kansas as a whole.
- The Florida-based company was founded by Italian racing champion Mario Andretti in 2001.
- Since the Andretti family first started the company, it has expanded from Florida to nine locations across four states.
