Here’s how the first day of school looked across Blue Valley

Share this story:

The school doors have officially opened back up in the Blue Valley School District. Students from pre-kindergarten to grade 12 began the 2023-24 school year on Wednesday, Aug. 16.

Some students returned to brand new schools this fall. For students at Aspen Grove Elementary, this proved especially true, as the school at 12402 W. 182nd Terrace began its first ever semester this week.

Here’s how the first day of school looked at three different schools across the district, from elementary school to high school.
