A shop serving “all natural” açaí bowls has dropped another anchor in Johnson County.
Nautical Bowls “soft opened” its second Overland Park açaí bowl shop this weekend, celebrating with a ribbon cutting on Friday.
Nautical Bowls operates at 11648 W. 135th St.
- The shop moved into a space at the Quivira Crossings shopping center in southern Overland Park.
- It neighbors Plato’s Closet and Hakata Sushi & Hibachi at the shopping center.
- Nautical Bowls operates from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Nautical Bowls serves customizable acaí bowls
- Açaí bowls at Nautical Bowls start with a base like chia pudding, coconut or mango.
- From there, customers can add a range of toppings — such as honey oat granola, blueberries, bananas, almonds or peanut butter.
- In addition to custom bowls, Nautical Bowls also offers a signature menu of “specially curated,” sea-themed bowls.
Nautical Bowls has another southern Overland Park location
- The second Nautical Bowls follows the first in Overland Park by only a few months.
- The first Nautical Bowls opened this fall, inside the Cosentino’s Market at 8051 W. 160th St.
- That location operates from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
