PHOTOS: People flock to downtown Overland Park for St. Pat’s parade

Hundreds of people lined downtown Overland Park to watch the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade Saturday morning.

The weather was brisk, but sunshine brought warmth to the festivities, which in some recent years have been more gloomy or frigid.

The parade started at 79th Street and Floyd in old Overland Park, then went up 79th to Santa Fe Drive. The parade then moved south on Santa Fe before ending at Robinson.
