A fitness company offering a “balanced, athletic, and real” workout experience is expanding its Johnson County presence.
Texas-based fitness company Bodybar Pilates plans to open a new studio soon in Lenexa.
Bodybar Pilates will be at 12825 W. 87th St. Parkway
- The studio will occupy a space at the Rosehill Exchange shopping center, just off West 87th Street and Gillette Street.
- Code Ninjas, a center for children to learn coding skills, previously occupied that space.
- Bodybar will also neighbor the Black Dog Coffeehouse and Ibis Bakery at the shopping center.
Bodybar Pilates focuses on strength, endurance
- Each class at Bodybar Pilates lasts 40 to 50 minutes long.
- Classes incorporate various pilates equipment like reformer machines, jump boards and tower springs.
- This type of workout targets benefits like strengthening muscles and bones, improving posture and raising heart rates.
This marks the second JoCo Bodybar studio
- The fitness company opened its first Johnson County studio earlier this year in southern Overland Park.
- Across the state line, the company also has a studio in Kansas City, Missouri.
- Bodybar Pilates is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, and also has franchises in several other states, including Georgia, California, Idaho and Illinois.
