Eight candidates are vying for four seats on the Johnson County Community College Board of Trustees.

Voters will be able to select four candidates, and the top four vote-getters overall will win seats to he board.

Three current board members are seeking reelection, including Lee Cross, Mark Hamill and Dawn Rattan. Other candidates include Carlton Abner, Chad Carroll, Jerry Charlton, Geoff Holton and Kenny Stokes.

Current trustee Melody Rayl, appointed in 2023 to fill a vacancy, is not seeking a full term.
