2025 Prairie Village city council election primer
There is a contested race in all six Prairie Village City Council wards this year, meaning all Prairie Village voters will have a choice for city council.

In Ward 1, Councilmember Cole Robinson is seeking his second term and faces a challenge from Daniel Garrett.

In Ward 2, Councilmember Ron Nelson is seeking his third term and is being challenged by Ed Boersma, who ran for a Ward 2 seat two years ago as a write-in candidate.

In Ward 3, Amy Aldrich and Shelby Bartelt are vying for the seat currently held by Councilmember Chi Nguyen, who was appointed to fill a vacancy last year and is not seeking a full term.
