The race for Spring Hill mayor features two write-in candidates — Rodolfo Arevalo and current council president Chad Young — after the lone candidate who filed announced she would not be able to take the job.

If one of the write-in candidates receives the most votes, that person will replace current mayor Joe Berkey, who is not seeking reelection.

The only name Spring Hill voters will see on the ballot for mayor is current city councilmember Kristin Feeback, but she is no longer running an active campaign and says she will not accept the job if she gets the most votes.

Voters will have to write in either Arevalo’s or Young’s name if they want to vote for them.
