Starbucks opens new Overland Park coffee shop, relocating along 75th Street

An Overland Park location for popular coffee chain Starbucks officially has a new space.

The Washington-based chain opened its newest Overland Park space Friday, at the Georgetown Plaza redevelopment site — moving further east on 75th Street from its original location at 10201 W. 75th St.

The new Starbucks is at 9385 W. 75th St.

  • The company built a new store just off West 75th Street and Frontage Road.
  • The store is just across the street from AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.
  • Starbucks is open from 4:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Starbucks already has roughly 50 Johnson County locations

  • Besides the Georgetown Plaza location, there are nine other stand-alone Starbucks stores in Overland Park.
  • The company has roughly 50 Starbucks stores in Johnson County overall, which includes both stand-alone stores and those within grocery stores and other venues.
  • Across the state line, Starbucks also has more than 20 locations in Kansas City, Missouri.

Another Starbucks is coming to Overland Park

  • Further south, the company also plans to open a new location at the Galleria 115 mixed-use development.
  • That store is currently under construction, and company representatives previously estimated that it would open in the spring of 2025.
  • Starbucks also recently opened a new location at the Merriam Grand Station development off Shawnee Mission Parkway and Antioch Road.
