Mexican restaurant Cactus Grill opens at Lenexa’s Restaurant Row

A local Tex-Mex eatery has officially opened its doors at a growing Lenexa development.

Mexican restaurant Cactus Grill celebrated its grand opening last week at the Restaurant Row development at Lenexa City Center.

Cactus Grill is at 8721 Scarborough St.

  • The restaurant occupies a brand new space just off West 87th Street and Renner Boulevard.
  • There, it neighbors healthy eatery Enjoy Pure Food + Drink, which also recently opened its new Lenexa location.
  • Cactus Grill is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Cactus Grill serves Tex-Mex and tequila

  • The restaurant’s menu features entrees like steak fajitas, short rib enchiladas, quesabirria tacos and shrimp diablo.
  • Cactus Grill also serves appetizers like chips and guacamole, chicken wings, nachos and southwest egg rolls.
  • The restaurant also serves cocktails like margaritas, palomas and sangria.

This marks Cactus Grill’s third location

  • Besides the Lenexa location, the restaurant has two other locations in Leawood and Overland Park.
  • Cactus Grill also serves as one of first tenants to open at the Restaurant Row development, following Enjoy Pure Food + Drink in November 2024.
  • Mediterranean eatery Zhoug and southern-inspired restaurant Tupelo Honey plan to open at the site later this year.
