Share this story:

An international café and bakery chain is inching its way toward its first Johnson County opening.

Construction is well underway on a new Overland Park location for Paris Baguette, paving the way for an opening in the coming weeks.

The new cafe will be right next to Oak Park Mall.

Paris Baguette is coming to 11137 W. 95th St.

  • The bakery and café will operate out of a brand new space just off 95th Street and Nieman Road.
  • Paris Baguette will neighbor breakfast eatery IHOP at the space, which is owned by the same Wichita-based franchisee, Mika Issa.

Paris Baguette offers sweets and sandwiches

  • Primarily known for its decorated cakes, the café also offers pastries like croissants, fruit tarts, doughnuts and milk buns.
  • Outside of sweeter items, the menu at Paris Baguette also offers breakfast and lunch items like bacon, egg and cheddar croissants, turkey melts, and chicken Caesar wraps.
  • Paris Baguette also features a coffee bar with classic drinks like lattes and mochas, as well as seasonal beverages like butter pecan lattes.

Another Paris Baguette is coming to Overland Park

  • A second Johnson County location is also in the works further south in Overland Park.
  • That location is on its way to 15895 Metcalf Ave., near a Taco Bell and Scooter’s Coffee.
  • The company is based in South Korea, but Paris Baguette also has a North American headquarters in New Jersey.
