Indoor go-kart and gaming venue set to open at much-watched Overland Park spot

The new facility will open its doors on Nov. 18, on the grounds of Aspiria corporate campus in Overland Park.

A new venue offering go-karting and other forms of entertainment is inching toward its first Johnson County opening.

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games facility has set a fall opening date on the grounds of the Aspiria corporate campus in Overland Park.

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is coming to 11610 Nall Ave.

  • The structure is taking shape at the northwest corner of 117th Street and Nall Avenue, near Aspiria’s eastern entrance.
  • The site is also directly west of the Park Place shopping center in Leawood, across Nall Avenue.
  • According to the company’s website, the new Overland Park facility will open its doors on Nov. 18.

Andretti will offer “pure thrills” in various forms

  • One of Andretti’s main attractions is electric tracks for people to race “Superkarts” indoors on.
  • In addition to racing, the 84,000-square-foot facility will also offer other activities like laser tag, bowling, arcade games and virtual reality games.
  • Andretti will also have a full-service bar with local beers and specialty cocktails, as well as food items like pizzas and flatbreads.

This marks the first Andretti’s debut in Johnson County

  • The new Overland Park facility also serves as the first in the wider Kansas City metro for the Florida-based company.
  • The company got its start in Roswell, Georgia in 1999.
  • Today, Andretti is headquartered in Orlando, Florida, and it also has locations in Arizona and Texas.
