Bakery and cafe Panera Bread has officially reopened one of its Johnson County locations.
After undergoing a renovation, the cafe held a “grand re-opening” at its Prairie Village location in November.
Panera reopened at 8300 Mission Road
- The restaurant and bakery occupies a space at the Corinth Quarter shopping center, just off 83rd Street and Mission Road.
- There, it operates near Tide Cleaners at the eastern end of the shopping center.
- Panera is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Another Panera opened in Johnson County this year
- In February, the company opened another location at the growing 95 Metcalf development in Overland Park.
- Both locations are owned by San Francisco-based franchisee Flynn Group, which owns more than 145 Panera Bread locations across the country.
- Panera also has locations in Lenexa, Leawood, Mission, Olathe and Shawnee.
Panera is getting a new neighbor in Prairie Village
- Another eatery, New York Butcher Shoppe, plans to open in another space near Panera at Corinth Quarter.
- The East Coast-based restaurant and wine bar is known for steaks and other dishes like grilled salmon and caesar salads.
- The restaurant will also double as a retail butcher shop, offering a variety of meats and take-home items like prepared salads and dips.
