Need to scan a form, make a few copies or print something on the go? Johnson County Library has upgraded technology across its locations to make everyday tasks easier, more flexible and more accessible – helping people stay connected to the things they need, right when they need them.

ScanEZ stations

New ScanEZ stations are now available at all locations, replacing older copier and scanner equipment. With ScanEZ, you can:

  • Scan documents to a USB drive or email.

  • Daily print allowances can be used for both printing and photocopying.

  • Work with everything from single-page forms to multi-page, double-sided documents.

Each station includes a flatbed scanner and a high-speed sheet-fed scanner. The easy-to-use touchscreen offers multiple languages, accessibility features such as magnification and high-contrast display and basic image-editing tools. Limited translation features are also available.

Use this new tool for tasks like digitizing family photos, submitting paperwork, preparing school forms or making copies for work. ScanEZ gives you more ways to get it done. Library staff can help you get started, and signage at each station provides step-by-step instructions.

Audio-visual upgrades

Many Library meeting and study rooms now feature new or upgraded audio-visual equipment. The improvements make it easier to hold meetings, give presentations, collaborate and enjoy Library programs. Book a meeting room for free up to three months in advance.

 Digital displays

Older digital displays have also been replaced with updated equipment. The new screens highlight upcoming events, featured resources and important announcements, while also sharing practical information such as the time, weather and urgent alerts.

The upgraded technology allows each branch to customize content for its community. In some locations, displays have been relocated or enlarged to improve visibility. The refreshed design offers a cleaner look and makes it simpler to see what’s happening at your Library.

Stop by and give it a try

Together, these upgrades replace aging equipment while giving patrons more convenient, reliable tools to use at the Library.  To learn more about Library services – both in-person and online – visit jocolibrary.org.
