Claudette Holt, 86, Spring Hill, Kansas passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at University of Kansas Health Systems Hospice House, Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026 with the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Hillsdale Presbyterian Church, 22875 W. 255th Street, Hillsdale, Kansas. Burial to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Spring Hill, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to University of Kansas Hospice House. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com
Claudette was born in Lone Jack, Missouri on September 22, 1940 to Claude Newton and Nola Mae (Jones) Wester. She graduated in 1958 from Spring Hill High School. Claudette lived most of her life in Spring Hill. She was a bookkeeper for Farmer’s Union Coop in Spring Hill. On May 22, 1989, Claudette married Tom Holt in Spring Hill. She enjoyed playing cards, reading books and playing games with her family. Claudette loved animals, especially horses and her cats. She loved being with her family, spending time together at family dinners. Claudette was a member of the Hillsdale Presbyterian Church.
Claudette was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Nola and husband Tom. She is survived by her daughter Joy (Dean) Rose Spring Hill, Kansas; son Ray (Paula) Newton, Spring Hill, Kansas; stepdaughters Kelly (Bill) Dicks, Gassville, Arkansas and Debbie (Brent) Lowery, Spring Hill, Kansas; sister Nell (Jerry) Masterson, Spring Hill, Kansas; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
