Just 5 days left to drop off storm debris at Porter Park

Crews worked to remove some of the felled branches stacked in the Porter Park parking lot Wednesday.

Dear procrastinating Prairie Villagers: The final hour for dropping off your storm debris at Porter Park is drawing nigh:

The last day for storm debris/limb drop-off is March 17th at Porter Park (Roe Ave & Tomahawk Rd). Debris must be placed in the designated area located in the parking lot. The debris/limb drop-off is available for storm debris from residential properties only. Be prepared to show proof of residency.

Deffenbaugh also accepts limbs at the curb as part of your weekly collection. Limb debris must be cut into 4 foot sections and tied with twine or string in bundles of less than 18 inches in diameter. Residents are allowed up to 12 yard waste items each week during the month of March. Visit https://www.pvkansas.com/index.aspx?page=214 for more information.
