Let’s all cheer for northeast Johnson County’s team, the San Francisco 49ers

Whoa! I am really sorry about that! I started to get a little light headed thinking about the Chiefs’ loss last week and the next thing you know I’m face down on the keyboard with my forehead apparently lodged on the “3” key.

Anyway, as I was saying, here we are in NFL playoff territory and with the…(breath, Jay)…Chiefs out of it, what are we here in the greater Kansas City metroplex supposed to do? Root for the Broncos? Ha!

Luckily, the good people of the SM East football program have an idea for us. Remember how 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh wished the Lancers well ahead of their state title game? Well, the Lancers have decided to return the favor before San Francisco takes on Carolina Sunday:

That’s reason enough for me to lend them my support. Go Niners!
