JoCo municipal courts hosting amnesty event. Municipal courts in Johnson County will conduct a warrant amnesty event from Saturday, Aug. 11, through Friday, Aug. 24. People with a warrant may appear in their designated court, at the specified time, to have their warrant canceled and warrant fee waived. Prosecutors will be available to assist with the resolution of cases. All warrants remain active until resolved, even during the amnesty event period. This means you can be served by an officer at any time you have contact with police, such as during a traffic stop. Johnson County municipal courts this week will share the schedule of participating courts.
