SM East grad Lily Kaufmann cast as part of national touring production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Johnson County Wastewater warns of possible odors along Mission Road as pressure pipes are recommissioned. Johnson County officials said they expect for a series of pressure pipes that run underneath Mission Road from 83rd Street to Lee Boulevard south of I-435 to be recommissioned starting today. “During the initial 2-3 days of this recommissioning process, there is the possibility of increased odor along Mission Road. The odor will dissipate after the recommissioning period,” said the county. “If you encounter persistent odor or have questions about this process, please call either Kenny Kellison at 913-715-8604 or Jeanette Klamm at 913-715-8608.”
