  • Join the community in celebrating the legacy of Erin Langhofer, a 25-year-old Overland Park native who was killed in a 2019 shooting at a First Fridays even in Kansas City. Erin’s Comfy Clothes Drive asks residents to drop off new comfy clothing on Saturday from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. at Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe Avenue. To learn more, click here.

  • Overland Park’s Community Development committee approved an ordinance on Monday changing some regulations around vehicle storage. Under the ordinance, residents can now leave more than one recreational vehicle, boat or trailer outside, as long as it isn’t in front and doesn’t take up more than 20% of the outside space. One vehicle can also be visible, but the rest have to be screened from view.
