What opened, closed and is coming soon this month in Johnson County

From bookstores and a bridal boutique to sushi and groceries, here's what's new on the Johnson County local business scene this month.

A sandwich shop that landed with a splash in southern Overland Park is now serving customers further north in Prairie Village.

The man who has spent his days repairing shoes in downtown Overland Park is retiring after decades, closing his shop for good.

A recently revamped Shawnee shopping center has a grocery store again, for the first time in two decades. Its owner is expanding his portfolio even further, adding a French-inspired cafe to a growing Overland Park shopping center.

Safe to say, it’s been a busy month in Johnson County when it comes to incoming and outgoing local businesses. Here are all of the local business openings, closings, and ones still to come that the Post reported on this month.
