Shawnee St. Patrick’s parade draws crowd downtown — See our pictures

Hundreds of residents turned out to watch the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in downtown Shawnee on Sunday.

The holiday isn’t until Friday, but Shawnee celebrates early with the parade put on each year by the Irish American Club of Johnson County.

The first annual Shamrock O’Market at City Hall and the Sister City Duck Race followed the parade later on Sunday.
