Happy Thanksgiving, Johnson County!

If we haven’t mentioned it lately, we are thankful for our readers and especially thankful for more than 7,200 of you who are paying subscribers.

Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to produce the truly local coverage of the Shawnee Mission and Blue Valley areas on a day to day basis.

Starting next year, that mission will expand as we grow into the Johnson County Post and begin covering Olathe city government and schools.

Truly, we have much to be thankful for as we head into the final weeks of 2023.

We will not publish today or tomorrow

Except for big breaking news, we’ll be taking Thursday and Friday off to rest, spend time with family and count our blessings.

We’ll be back Monday with fresh coverage of your community, including our daily Out Front morning newsletter that subscribers receive in their inbox.

If you want to try us out, sign up for a trial offer today. You get a month of full access to the Post for just $1. Find out more here.

Meanwhile, get in the grateful spirit
