Overland Park’s Bluhawk complex will soon be home to a new fitness center offering training programs for amateurs and competitive athletes alike.
The C26 Hub, a membership-based sports training club, will host a range of fitness activities and classes at its site inside the Bluhawk AdventHealth Sports Park — which is in the process of being built.
C26 Hub is set to open next fall
- The C26 Hub fitness center will operate seven days a week out of a roughly 6,000-square-foot space at AdventHealth Sports Park, just south of the existing Bluhawk retail complex.
- C26 Hub at Bluhawk will feature an indoor pool with lap lanes, a cycling studio, strength equipment and a recovery lounge.
- The facility will be geared toward both adults and kids, with programs for all ages.
- “A big goal of ours is to provide a place for the parents to come in and get their own training and their own workout — whether it’s strength training, swimming laps in the pool, or taking a yoga class — and doing that while their kids are participating in all the other sports inside the sports complex,” said Robbie Bruce, head coach at C26 Hub.
C26 Hub started out as a virtual triathlon trainer
- C26 Hub, based in Tennessee, originated as an online coaching hub for triathletes from across the country.
- The company’s owners relocated from Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Overland Park a year-and-a-half ago, which Bruce said inspired them to look into bringing the business with them.
- Bruce said C26 Hub will serve as the AdventHealth Sports Park’s only private tenant, while continuing to serve more than 400 remote clients across the country.
- “When people hear the word ‘athlete’ they think of a Kansas City Chiefs player or Sporting KC player, but we tend to believe that every adult has some kind of athlete inside of them,” he said. “We kind of cut our teeth in triathlon training in the past, but our goal here with this brick-and-mortar space is to really reach all the populations and allow people to do something that makes them happier and healthier.”

AdventHealth Sports Park is set to open next year
- The larger 420,000-square-foot sports park is set to feature basketball courts, ice rinks, volleyball and pickleball courts, a restaurant and bowling alleys.
- Once complete, it will serve as the anchor to the Bluhawk mixed-use development near 159th Street and U.S. 69 Highway.
- Bluhawk’s retail presence will also grow next year, with the addition of several new tenants like Ulta Beauty and Bath & Body Works.
