Oak Park Library branch reopens to public

A Johnson County Library branch in Overland Park is now back open after a months-long closure.

Oak Park Library, 9500 Bluejacket Dr., reopened to the public on Dec. 18, according to a Johnson County Library Facebook post.

That branch just east of Oak Park Mall closed in early August for renovations, including upgrades to electrical and HVAC systems and remodeled public restrooms

The Oak Park branch paused all services for the last few months during this time.

Library patrons can return to visiting the branch from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
