One party supply chain has officially replaced another on a busy Overland Park corner.
Utah-based Zurchers “soft opened” its new southern Overland Park store on Friday, marking the company’s Johnson County debut.
Zurchers is at 8400 W. 135th St.
- The store moved into a space at the Overland Pointe Marketplace, just off 135th Street and Antioch Road.
- Party City previously occupied that space for nearly 15 years before it shuttered earlier this year.
- Zurchers is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Zurchers offers items for all things party
- The company carries party supplies for a wide range of occasions, from birthdays and weddings to baby showers and graduations.
- Its inventory includes items like balloons, which customers can purchase either on their own or in a balloon bouquet.
- Other items that customers can find at Zurchers include piñatas, tableware and banners.
This marks the first Zurchers store in Johnson County
- The Overland Park store also serves as the first in the wider Kansas City metro area.
- However, the Utah-based chain also recently opened a store across the state line in Springfield, Missouri.
- Besides its newest stores, Zurchers has roughly 15 locations across Utah and Idaho.
