The former site of a breakfast eatery may soon become a car wash in southern Overland Park.
Missouri-based Club Car Wash has filed plans to build a new car wash near the Stanley Square shopping center in Overland Park.
The Overland Park Planning Commission will review the plan at its Monday meeting.
Club Car Wash wants to build at 8400 W. 151st St.
- The car wash is proposed for near the western edge of the Stanley Square shopping center, on the northeast corner of 151st Street and Antioch Road.
- Breakfast restaurant IHOP previously occupied that site for roughly five years.
- The car wash will also be near Walgreens and the Phillips 66 gas station at the shopping center.
Club Car Wash offers drive-thru washes
- The car wash company offers multiple tiers of memberships, offering unlimited monthly washes and beginning at $22 monthly.
- Customers can also opt for single washes, which begin at $10.
- The plan for the new Overland Park car wash calls for a roughly 5,000-square-foot car wash with 21 vacuum bays.
This marks the third Club Car Wash in Overland Park
- The new Overland Park facility would also serve as the fifth in Johnson County.
- Outside of Overland Park, the company has two more car washes in Shawnee.
- Across the state line, Club Car Wash also has a car wash in Kansas City, Missouri.
