The crew from Elysian Salon & Spa, which took home five Best of Johnson County wins this year.

Earlier this month we toasted the finalists and winners selected by Johnson County Post voters in this year’s Best of Johnson County! We had a blast mingling and making connections over glasses of Cardboard Corner Cafe’s Johnson County Punch at the Lenexa Public Market. See any of your Johnson County favorites?

Strauss Peyton won the Best Photographer award.
Douglas L. Freeman, CPA, LLC, won Best Accountant/Tax Preparer.
Serendipity Labs won Best Co-Working Space.
Serendipity Labs won Best Co-Working Space.
Elysian Salon & Spa won for Best Nail Salon.
Olivia Sundermeyer of Elysian Salon & Spa won for Best Esthetician.
Michelle Angell of Elysian Salon & Spa won for Best Hair Stylist.
Zhoie Stiff of Elysian Salon & Spa won for Best Hair Colorist.
Pileggi Painting won Best Home Painter.
Penny Mufuka, center, won Best Chef, and her restaurants Bamboo Penny’s and Aqua Penny’s took home honors as well.
Community Lending of America won Best Mortgage Company.
Regain Functional Medicine and Aesthetics won Best Med Spa.
The crew from Johnson County Park and Recreation District celebrating their four separate wins.
JCPRD won for Best After School Care and Best Large Employer.
Kansas City Hospice won for Best Hospice care.
The Apex at City Place won for Best Apartment Complex.
Mike Deathe of K.I.S.S. Dog Training won for Best Dog Trainer.
Bourgmont Winery won for Best Wedding Venue.
B&B Photography were finalists in the Best Photographer category.
