A Kansas City eatery has officially debuted in Johnson County, in a former taco shop space.
QZ Poke & Ramen unveiled its new Olathe location in September, marking its first in the county.
QZ Poke & Ramen opened at 13505 S Mur-Len Road
- The restaurant occupies a space at the Santa Fe Square Shopping Center, just off 135th Street and Mur-Len Road in Olathe.
- Fuzzy’s Taco Shop previously occupied that space before it closed in 2024.
- QZ Poke & Ramen is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
QZ offers customizable poke and ramen bowls
- At QZ, customers can create their own poke bowls — a Hawaiian dish typically served with diced raw fish, rice and a variety of toppings.
- The menu also offers ramen bowls, which people can customize with a broth, noodle and protein of their choice.
- In addition to poke and ramen, QZ also serves boba teas in a variety of flavors, as well as appetizers like spring rolls, pork dumplings and tempura shrimp.
This marks the first QZ in Johnson County
- The Olathe location is also the fifth location overall for the locally owned eatery.
- The restaurant has locations on both the Kansas and Missouri side of Kansas City: one at the Legends Outlets, and another at the Zona Rosa shopping district.
- QZ also has locations in Lee’s Summit and Liberty, Missouri.
