Dutch Bros, drive-thru coffee chain, opens new Overland Park location at Prairiefire

Dutch Bros coffee shop at Prairiefire marks the Oregon-based company's second location in Overland Park.

An Oregon-based coffee chain with a growing presence in the Kansas City area has officially unveiled its newest Overland Park location.

On Friday, a new Dutch Bros officially opened at the Prairiefire shopping center in southern Overland Park.

Dutch Bros opened at 5851 W. 135th St.

  • The new drive-thru shop occupies a space at Prairiefire, on the southwest corner of 135th and Outlook streets.
  • There, it operates near the AMC movie theater and Rock & Brews.
  • Dutch Bros’ regular hours at Prairiefire are from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Dutch Bros offers coffee, energy drinks and more

  • The shop’s menu offers traditional drinks like lattes and cold brews, as well as signature drinks like the “Golden eagle” (espresso, caramel, vanilla breve and caramel drizzle) and the “Caramelizer” (espresso, caramel and chocolate milk).
  • In addition to coffee, Dutch Bros also serves flavored “Rebel” energy drinks, which come in flavors like “Palm Beach,” (peach and pomegranate), and “Vampire Slayer,” (pomegranate and strawberry).
  • Dutch Bros also offers other drinks, such as chai lattes, smoothies, sparkling sodas and lemonades.

This marks the second Dutch Bros in Overland Park

  • The Oregon-based company has one other Overland Park location, which opened at 9721 Metcalf Ave., earlier this year.
  • In addition to Overland Park, Dutch Bros also has Johnson County locations in Lenexa, Shawnee and Olathe.
  • Across the state line, the company has four locations in Kansas City, Missouri.
