High-end fashion brand Coach opening new Leawood store

The store will replace upscale restaurant Rockhill Grille, which closed at Town Center Crossing in mid-2024.

A new handbag and accessory store plans to take over a former restaurant space in Leawood.

High-end fashion brand Coach is in the process of moving into the space previously occupied by Rockhill Grille at Town Center Crossing.

Coach is coming to 4403 W. 119th St.

  • The store is coming to a space on the east end of the Town Center Crossing shopping center, which is just off 119th Street and Roe Avenue.
  • There, it will operate near Trader Joe’s and Fabletics at the shopping center.
  • Rockhill Grille occupied that space for roughly two years before its closure.

Coach offers “luxury” handbags and accessories

  • The New York-based brand is known, in large part, for its handbags, which come in a variety of sizes and patterns.
  • The brand also carries other accessories like wallets, watches, belts and jewelry.
  • The new Leawood store will serve as the brand’s second one in Johnson County, with another store inside the Oak Park Mall in Overland Park.

Rockhill Grille closed in 2024

  • By September 2024, the restaurant’s Leawood location had been removed from its website, and its inventory had been boxed up.
  • At the time, representatives from The Rockhill Grille and Town Center Crossing officials did not respond to Post inquiries about the closure.
  • The upscale eatery still has another location at 2000 Grand Blvd. in Kansas City, Missouri.
