Ralph Larry Riemer, age 80, of Overland Park, Ks, passed away on May 7, 2026 at Kansas City Hospice House. He was born on July 23,1945, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. His parents were Delbert and Cornelia (Damm) Riemer. He lived in Biron, WI during his early years, but later his family moved to Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He graduated from Lincoln High School there, and then attended Mid State Technical School. He served in the Air Force and the Air Force Reserves from which he retired.

Ralph and his wife Pam were married on March 22, 1990, at Rosedale Baptist Church. His two young daughters Rebecca and Amy were bridesmaids. Ralph loved to travel and took many vacations with his family. His favorite yearly trip was to his hometown, Wisconsin Rapids, WI (the Rapids as he called it) to visit with family and friends. Ralph was employed at Hallmark Cards, Inc.. and retired after 25 years. During that time he enjoyed volunteering at the Red Cross.

He was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Cornelia Riemer, his sister Alice Mckee, her husband Douglas and their son Andy McKee. Ralph was also preceded in death by his brother-in law, Joseph Wohletz and Ralph’s mother-in-law and father-in-law, Glen and Margaret Richardson.

Survivors include his wife Pam, daughters Rebecca Braun and Amy Witt; grandchildren Natalie, Ryan and Lydia Witt; son-in-law Mike Witt; brother Lyle Riemer and wife Sue; sister Margaret Grundeen and husband Ron; brothers and sisters-in-law Rene’ Wohletz; Chuck and Tressa Richardson; Dale Richardson; Kerrie Richardson; and Scott and Karen Richardson. Also included are many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Ralph will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Come and enjoy food, beverage and visiting. The location is the home of friends, Robyn and Doug at 7820 Rosewood Dr., Prairie Village, KS 66208

Monday, June 22, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. there will be a graveside ceremony held at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd., Leavenworth, KS 66048, at the Pavilion. Signage will direct you to the area for the line-up for the procession. Please arrive at 12:15 p.m. Also, directions will be available at the Celebration of Life.
