A healthy eatery is inching closer and closer to its Johnson County debut.
In August, Arizona-based Flower Child will officially open its new restaurant at the Corinth Quarter shopping center in Prairie Village.
That’s according to an announcement this week from the company, which has been finishing off the space near 83rd and Mission with an eye-catching mural of bright yellow lemons and flowers on its exterior facing.
Flower Child is coming to 3915 W. 83rd St.
- The restaurant is opening in a space at the Corinth Quarter shopping center, just off 83rd Street and Mission Road in Prairie Village.
- There, it will operate near a long-standing Panera Bread and Italian sandwich shop La Fetta, which plans to open at Corinth Quarter later this year.
- According to Flower Child’s press release, it’s set an opening date in Prairie Village for Aug. 11.
Flower Child serves “healthy food for a happy world”
- The restaurant is known for dishes like avocado Caesar salad, spicy coconut green curry and a black bean falafel wrap.
- The restaurant also serves sides like sweet potato fries, gluten-free mac and cheese and cauliflower risotto.
- Flower Child also serves sweet treats like lemon olive oil cake and double chocolate brownies.
This marks the first Flower Child in Johnson County
- The new Prairie Village location will also mark the first in the wider Kansas City metro for the restaurant.
- Outside of Kansas, the Arizona-based brand has locations in several other states, including one in St. Louis, Missouri.
