Stephen F. Argubright, 84, passed away on March 29, 2026. He was born on March 15, 1942.
Stephen proudly served his country as a Commander (CDR) in the United States Navy, completing 22 years of active service. His distinguished military career included service during the Vietnam War, and he received numerous decorations and medals in recognition of his dedication and service to his country.
Beyond his military accomplishments, Stephen will be remembered most as a loving and devoted father to his two children, Amy Argubright and Tom Argubright, and a wonderful grandfather to his five grandchildren. His commitment to his family and his country were defining parts of a life marked by service, strength, and devotion.
Stephen will be laid to rest at Johnson County Memorial Gardens in Overland Park, Kansas, alongside his parents.
A graveside service honoring Stephen’s life and military service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
Stephen’s memory will live on through his family and all those whose lives he touched. His many years of dedicated service to his country will be remembered with gratitude and respect.
