Henry Roland Keeton, 78, Paola, Kansas passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026 at University of Kansas Health Systems, Olathe, Kansas. Inurnment at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2026, at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to Disabled American Veterans. Henry was born on January 9, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to Roland Clarence and Helen Marie (Weinhardt) Keeton. He grew up in St. Louis and graduated from St. Mary High School, St. Louis. Henry was a mechanic for Deffenbaugh Waste Management. On April 11, 1970 in St. Louis, Henry married Sally Ann Wedbush. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as Staff Sargent. Henry was a dedicated, hard-working man who enjoyed keeping up with the daily news and weather forecast. He made friends easily and no one was a stranger to him. Henry liked to fish, collect stamps, channel surf and start projects. He was a fan of science fiction movies and James Bond.
Henry was preceded in death by parents. He is survived by his wife Sally of the home; sons Richard “Ricky” Roland Keeton (Janet), Hillsdale, Kansas and David Keeton (Lauren), Olathe, Kansas; daughter Renee Kelley (Brian), Overland Park, Kansas; sister Mary Ellen Juresic (Ivan), St. Louis, Missouri; brother Daniel Keeton (Cindy), St. Louis, Missouri and 10 grandchildren.
