Norma S. Adams, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and woman of deep Christian faith, was welcomed into Christ’s presence on August 24, 2026, at the age of 94.
Norma was born on July 4, 1932, in Merriam, Kansas, to August Henry Stoeltzing and Nellie McRoberts Stoeltzing. She graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1950 and later attended Bob Jones University.
On May 30, 1952, Norma married Glenn Henry Adams, beginning a loving partnership and a lifetime of shared ministry and service. From 1953 to 1990, she faithfully served alongside Glenn as a pastor’s wife. Their ministry took the family to Caryville, Florida; Johnstown, Pennsylvania; Torrington, Wyoming; and Olathe, Kansas.
While raising their family, Norma devoted herself to being a stay-at-home mother, creating a loving home grounded in faith, family, and service to others. Later in life, she worked for Campus Crusade for Christ and Fringe Benefits Design.
Throughout her life, Norma’s greatest priorities were her faith and her family. She devoted herself to sharing God’s love with everyone she met, not only through words but through the kindness, generosity, encouragement, and care she extended to others. Her faith shaped the way she lived, raised her children, supported her husband’s ministry, and loved the generations of family who followed.
Norma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn Henry Adams, and her brother, Robert Stoeltzing.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Steve and Ginny Adams; Mark and Pam Adams; Becky and Chris Johnson; and Debbie and Brad Ferrie. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren:

Norma’s life was marked by quiet faithfulness: faithfulness to God, to her husband, to her children and family, and to the many people whose lives she touched over more than nine decades. Her legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and through the countless lives enriched by her warmth, faith, and steadfast example.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered, with gratitude for a life well lived and the assurance that the faith she shared throughout her life remained her foundation to the very end.
A private family celebration of Norma’s life will be held at a later date.
