An Arkansas-based coffee chain is preparing to make its debut in a new Johnson County city.
Next week, drive-thru coffee chain 7 Brew will officially open its new Shawnee store — its first in that city.
The company kicked off opening festivities over this past weekend, with a pre-opening “Caffeine for a Cause” event in which all costs will go toward Shawnee-based Brave Like McKenna.
7 Brew is opening at 11560 W. 63rd St.
- The coffee shop took over a space just off 63rd Street and Quivira Road in Shawnee.
- Previously, the space was occupied by a Kentucky Fried Chicken eatery.
- Once it opens, 7 Brew’s regular hours in Shawnee will be 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
7 Brew serves caffeine in various forms
- 7 Brew offers a variety of coffee and tea drinks, from lattes and mochas to matcha and chai.
- That includes signature 7 Brew flavors combinations like the blondie (caramel and vanilla breve), the banana bread mocha (banana and hazelnut mocha) and the “sugar cookie chai” (with vanilla, white chocolate and cupcake flavor).
- Outside of coffee and tea, 7 Brew offers energy drinks, lemonades and smoothies.
This marks the fifth 7 Brew in Johnson County
- Outside of Shawnee, the Arkansas-based company already had three locations in Overland Park.
- The coffee chain also has one location in Olathe.
- Across the state line, 7 Brew also has two stands in Kansas City, Missouri.
