Kerry Gentry, son of Dean and Maureen Gentry passed away at
his home on September 3, 2026. He was born in Kansas City on
November 14, 1974, graduated from Rockhurst High School in
1993 where he played football and acquired the nickname Judge.
While attending college,Kerry received his certification as an
Emergency Medical Technician and in 2004 spent a year at a
clinical internship for radiography (X-Ray tech). At age 30 he
joined the Kansas City Fire Department where he served for
nearly 20 years. He enjoyed dove hunting, especially on opening
day, skiing in the mountains and at the lake and riding his ATV.
He is survived by his mother Maureen and daughter Keely, his
greatest gift.
