KC Restaurant Week this year features 50+ JoCo eateries. Here’s your guide.

Gourmands and foodies, get ready: Kansas City Restaurant Week is nearly here, and there are more than 50 Johnson County establishments participating this year.

 

Next Friday, Jan. 12, will mark the beginning of the 10-day event that will include a wide range of local eateries across the Kansas City metro, serving all types of cuisine on specially curated, prix fixe menus at a price range generally ranging from $20 to $55.

Here’s what you need to know about the 2024 version of KC Restaurant Week in Johnson County:

The dates

  • Kansas City Restaurant Week this year will run from Friday, Jan. 12, to Sunday, Jan. 21.
  • Menu choices feature breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
  • Customers can either dine in or pick up their order at the restaurant, as well as getting it delivered.

The beneficiaries

  • Each year, participating restaurants commit to donating 10% of each purchased meal to one charity partner and two founding beneficiaries.
  • The 2024 community charity partner is Kanbe’s Markets, a nonprofit organization centered around eliminating food insecurity in the Kansas City area.
  • The nonprofits Visit KC Foundation and Greater KC Restaurant Association Educational Foundation are the event’s founding beneficiaries.
